Can you imagine diving into the ocean and finding a jellyfish larger than yourself? It's no science fiction - this one is real folks. These giant creatures, known as Nomura's jellyfish, can grow up to 6 ft. long and weigh up to 450 lbs.! This would be a great freak show at a circus if it wasn't for the fact that they destroy fishing villages in Japan. Once the beasts travel from the Yellow Sea to Japan, their sheer size tears through traditional fishing nets and destroys any chance Japanese fisherman have of catching enough fish for the season.Have you had an experience with a large sea creature? If so, what was it and where were you? Share you experience in the comments section below. Enjoy.
